Mangaluru: Malabar Gold & Diamonds holds scholarship distribution programme

Mangaluru, Mar 26: As a part of CSR initiative of Education & Women Empowerment programme, scholarship was distributed to deserving higher secondary & degree college girl students by Malabar Gold & Diamonds.

Ten cheques for Homes for Homeless and 180 Scholarship cheques in Mangaluru city and Bantwal colleges. They are giving away 450 cheques in overall Dakshina Kannada. Similarly, other outlets in Karnataka will be giving away scholarships at their respective regional level too.

The guests at the scholarship distribution programme were Dr Ushaprabha Nayak (co-founder & Vice Chairperson Expert Group of institutions) and Corrine Rasquinha (founder president of the White Doves, destitute home).

Althaf A K, assistant store head, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Mangaluru; Karthik Kumar, guest relationship manager; and Sheik Farhan, marketing manager were also present.
