Kundapur, Mar 26: An illegal sand mining quarry was raided on Saturday March 26.

Sandhya, an official of the department of Geology and Mining raided the illegal sand mining quarry where sand was extracted and transported at Ulloor under guidance from senior scientist of the department of Geology and Mining, Sandeep G U.

Three sand laden tippers were seized and handed over to Amasebail police station for further action.
