Mangaluru: Swacchata Abhiyan held by Service commission of St Joseph Worker church

Mangaluru, Mar 27: As many as 21 different commissions have been formed with an intention of service at St Joseph's Worker Church. Out of this environment commission held cleaning campaign at fifth ward of Neerumarga gram panchayat.

Members of Neerumarga gram panchayat also cooperated in the cleaning campaign. Speaking on the occasion, teacher Gerald Lobo said, “21 different commissions are formed in St Joseph worker church with the intention of service to society. Now this commission has started serving people. Accordingly now we have cleaned the surroundings of not only the church but also other adjoining areas. In coming days, we will get the acknowledgement of clean village.”

Mohini Shivanand, member of Neerumarga Panchayat fifth ward said, “As panchayat members, will cooperate with all the social works that are carried out by the St Joseph worker church.”

Panchayat members Sathyakshi, Bhaskar J Manoor, Joyson Vaz, president of environment commission of the church and others were present.
