Mangaluru, Mar 28: Senior Congress leader Venkappa Poojary Bantwal has been appointed as the Dakshina Kannada district general secretary of Congress Seva Dal. The order has been issued by Seva Dal district president Joachim D'Souza.

As per the recommendation from former minister Ramanatha Rai, former minister Janardhana Poojary this decision has been taken.
