Karkala, Mar 29: Two cars collided with each other near Nallur on Karkala - Dharmasthala state highway. One of the cars tumbled due to the impact of the collision. A woman,Tara Raikar (70), who was in one of the cars, lost her life in this accident which happened on Sunday March 27.
The deceased belonged to Yellapur, Uttara Kannada district. She was seated in a car with some relatives. Kartik was driving the car.
A car which was moving towards Karkala from the direction of Dharmasthala had hit this car, causing it to fall by its side. Other passengers in the car suffered minor injuries. A case relating to this accident was registered in the rural police station here.
