Mangaluru, Mar 29: The Air India Express flight that was to leave from the airport at 7.55 pm on Sunday from the international airport here to Dubai was delayed. As there was no proper information from the authorities concerned, the passengers faced a hard time.
Because of technical reasons, the flight had been postponed. The passengers remained inside the airport as there was no concrete information about the timing of its departure. The flight was later cancelled. Thereafter, a relief flight was brought from Thiruvananthapuram to ferry the passengers to Dubai. The aircraft reached here at 5 am on Monday and took off to Dubai at 6.18 am, sources said.
The passengers had to wait at the airport for about ten hours. Air India Express however had arranged food for the passengers at the airport.
