State Upa Lokayukta Justice Panindra assumes charge

Bengaluru, Mar 29: Karnataka’s new Upa Lokyukta Justice K N Panindra was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor Thaawar Chand Gehlot at Raj Bhavan on Tuesday.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Home Minister Araga Jnanendra, Deputy Speaker of State Assembly Anand Mamani, Legislative Council Opposition leader BK Hariprasad, S Suresh Kumar, MLA, Chief Secretary P Ravikumar, DGP Praveen Sood and State Advocate General Prabhulinga Navadgi were among the dignitaries, who attended the event.

A delegation led by Switzerland’s Ambassador to India Dr Rolf Hector called on the Chief Minister in the morning in his office in Vidhana Soudha. Chief Secretary P Ravikumar, Industries Department Additional Chief Secretary EV Ramana Reddy, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Manjunath Prasad, Industries Department Commissioner Gunjan Krishna and others were present during the discussion.
