Amman, March 26 (IANS) Jordanian Prime Minister Marouf Bakhit has said the clashes in the capital are a start of sedition and it is unacceptable.
"I hold you accountable that if you continue your current approach that will lead to fitna (sedition) in Jordan," Xinhua quoted Bakhit as saying Friday. He called on the Islamists to resort to dialogue.
The government, he said, would not allow any group to violate the freedom of others.
On Friday, one Jordanian was killed and 100 others were injured in clashes between pro-reform protesters and government loyalists, said the Public Security Department.
