Chennai, Sep 9: The makers of director Jithu Madhavan's much-awaited next film, starring actor Suriya in the lead, on Wednesday announced its title as **'Scene'** and confirmed that the film will hit theatres worldwide on November 6 for Deepavali this year.

Suriya shared the title teaser released by the makers on his X timeline and wrote, "Hi Dear All, Here’s a glimpse into #Scene. In cinemas from 6th Nov 2026. #Deepavali2026."

The teaser opens with a voice-over saying, "You guys keep showcasing his talent to hide and mask his despicable character."

Suriya is then seen arriving at a crime scene dressed as a police officer. "Who killed whom?" he asks a constable, who replies, "You are here to find that out."

Another person is heard complaining about his character, saying, "He sits on a chair and shows attitude, leisurely smoking. Psycho!"

A jail warden is also seen speaking about Suriya's character, Inbaraj.

"When suspects see Inbaraj sir, they start behaving in an erratic fashion," he says before warning prisoners to return to their cells.

"No one should step outside. Inbaraj sir is coming," the warden says.

Suriya is subsequently seen walking with his arm around the shoulder of a constable. He tells him, "Take a good look at my face. To you, I might be the only cop to have ever arrested you. But to me, you are one among the 900 odd criminals I've locked up in prison."

The film went on floors with a traditional pooja ceremony in Chennai in December last year.

Produced by Zhagaram Studios, the project was tentatively referred to as **Suriya 47** until the title announcement.

The film has been among the most anticipated projects of the year, with considerable curiosity surrounding the collaboration between Suriya and Jithu Madhavan.

Suriya plays the lead role, with Nazriya Nazim as the female lead. Rising actor Naslen, who has gained attention through several successful outings, plays an important role. The cast also includes John Vijay and Anandaraj, among others.

The film has a strong technical team, with Vineeth Augustian handling cinematography and Sushin Shyam composing the music. Ashwini Kale is the production designer, while Ajmal Sabu is the editor.

Chethan D'Souza is the stunt choreographer for the project, which has generated high expectations among fans and audiences.
