Mumbai, Sep 9: Hanuman Ansh continues its extraordinary run at the box office, nearing the Rs 170-crore mark in India gross after completing 33 days in theatres.
According to trade website Sacnilk, the spiritual drama has collected Rs 143.13 crore nett in India so far, while its India gross collection stands at Rs 169.20 crore. On Day 33 alone, the film earned Rs 11 crore nett.
The film's strong performance has continued even after completing a month in theatres. Hanuman Ansh collected Rs 10 crore nett on Day 32, while Day 31 saw an impressive Rs 22.75 crore nett. The film earned Rs 16.50 crore nett on Day 30 and Rs 10 crore nett on Day 29.
The film's fifth weekend alone contributed Rs 49.25 crore nett, an exceptional figure considering its reported production budget of just Rs 2 crore.
Hanuman Ansh had a modest beginning compared with mainstream theatrical releases, but its box-office fortunes changed dramatically as positive word of mouth gathered momentum.
The film collected Rs 1.08 crore nett in its opening week, followed by Rs 40 lakh in the second week and Rs 10.40 crore nett in the third week.
The major turnaround came in its fourth week, when the film earned Rs 61 crore nett. Rather than witnessing the usual decline after completing four weeks, the film delivered an even stronger fifth weekend, pushing its India nett collection beyond Rs 140 crore.
The scale of the film's success becomes even more striking considering its reported budget. Made at a cost of around Rs 2 crore, Hanuman Ansh has now earned more than 70 times its reported production cost through India nett collections.
The film has also continued to draw audiences despite competing with significantly larger theatrical releases and completing more than a month in cinemas.
Based on the life of Neem Karoli Baba, the spiritual drama has been directed by Vishal Chaturvedi and stars Shobhinaw Satyaa and Vihaan Shedge, along with Chandan Anand, Gulshan Pandey, Anil Rastogi and Purnima Tiwari.
With an India gross of Rs 169.20 crore after 33 days, Hanuman Ansh has emerged as one of the biggest box-office surprises of 2026. Its remarkable staying power, particularly against a reported Rs 2-crore budget, has made its theatrical run an exceptional success story.
