Mangaluru: Taxi driver Ismail's murder - Two including contract killer arrested

Mangaluru, Mar 4: The Konaje police here have arrested two more persons in connection to the murder of V A Ismail, a resident of Dedinje in Pavoor Innoli.

The arrested are Munna alias Munaf, a contract killer, and Shabbir alias Shabbi, a resident of Boliyar.

So far, five persons have been arrested in the case, the other three being Ismail's second wife Nabeesa, her paramour Jamal Ahmed Kuthar and Abdul Rahiman alias Riyaz Ullal

It is said that Ismail's second wife, Nabeesa, and her paramour, Jamal, had entered into contract with Munaf, Riyaz and Shabbir for murdering Ismail. The trio had approached Ismail, a taxi driver, on February 16 saying they wanted to go to Bengaluru. After hiring the car operated by Ismail for this trip, they had allegedly killed him near Shiradi and abandoned the car on the highway at Neerakatte.

After the incident, the Konaje police had arrested Ismail's wife Nabeesa, as well as Jamal and Riyaz. The other accused who had executed the contract killing had gone underground. Out of tem, Munaf surrendered on Thursday March 3, after which Konaje police arrested and produced him in the court. A day later, on Friday March 4, the police arrested Shabbir.

Munaf, it is gathered, was the prime accused in the murder of Vinayak at Kotepura,Ullal. He had been released recently.

    I dnt think so ! Serial killer mohan kumar not yet convicted with live proofs, its already 6 years ! how abt this !
