Mangaluru, Aug 14: Well-known cine artiste Aravind Bolar is the pride of the district and Hindu society. Kavu Hemanath Shetty, his friend Manju Suvarna, former vice president of Puttur municipal council Lancy Mascarenhas and former councillor Anwar Kasim had paid a visit to Arvind Bolar at his residence and honoured him.
Hemanath Shetty also asked him on whether he was troubled due to coronavirus. Aravind Bolar answered that he always stayed in a certain framework. "I am working without any vice. I have the responsibility of two of my daughters," he said.
“I have not requested help from anybody. I do not want to face such a situation in the future also. It will be my last day if I come across such a situation,” he said. “Several artists have been devastated by the virus. Theatre will be difficult to perform in the near future,” he said.
“If on my deathbed I am visited by several people, I will consider it to be an honour," he said.
He shared his feelings to Hemanath Shetty. As Shetty is an arts promoter, the visitors said that artists are the part takers in society’s changes. “We are with you,” they said.
After spending an hour discussing, the visitors left. Bolar emotionally stated that he felt as though he was visited by his brothers.
