Bantwal, Aug 31: In a hit and run incident, a speeding car rammed into a two-wheeler from behind and critically injured the rider.
The incident occurred near B C Road circle, Mangaluru-Bengaluru national highway on Monday evening.
The name and address on the driving license of the two-wheeler rider are mentioned as Bantwal Pallamajalu resident Prakash R Chowta. Further details are yet to be known.
The rider, who suffered critical injuries to the head is admitted to Mangaluru private hospital. The two-wheeler was being driven from Panemangaluru towards B C Road. The car is said to have hit the two-wheeler from behind and fled.
