WHO reported that about a million people commit suicide every year. Suicide is a desperate attempt to escape from suffering that is unbearable. Every person inherently wanting to commit suicide does not want to end life, but he does not find any avenue of relief.

Present days, there are so many helplines for people contemplating suicide, either they are not knowing it or are not guided by people who know it. Family of such people should take any sign of suicidal behaviour of their member seriously. The highest suicide rates of any age group occur among persons aged 65 years and older. Recent death of spouse, physical illness, loss of independence and loss of sense of purpose of life are major factors for elderly to cause depression.

We have to take care of our health and eat meals regularly. Prayer is the most helpful tool at this period of time.

Very sad.He could have atleast note the reason for his suicide so that Police could rule out the fault on family. Many times Police doubt first family .May be he had some health issues which family didnt know? Whatever it is one should better share it with family ,so that can be helped.Heartfelt sympathy to his family.May his soul rest in peace.

    Hi Jossey,

Just wanted to know, what does suicide have to do with education? Do u mean to say educated people do not commit suicide? Lack of education makes people kill themselves, never heard of this buddy.
