Bengaluru, Nov 23: CHRIST (Deemed to be University), in collaboration with the Indo-Pacific Circle (IPC), Centre for East Asian Studies (CEAS), and the Council for Strategic and Defense Research (CSDR), has introduced a new Indo-Pacific curriculum. The initiative was formally launched by US consul general Chris Hodges at the university's central campus on November 23.

The curriculum includes a series of online lectures by 18 academics from India and the Indo-Pacific region. Topics covered include the diversity of the Indo-Pacific, trade and demographics, regional challenges, nuclear discourse, climate change, and security issues.

The event was graced by vice chancellor Dr. Fr. Jose CC and professor Dr Manoharan, director of CHRIST University's Centre for East Asian Studies. The launch of the curriculum marks another milestone in the university’s commitment to imparting accessible knowledge and promoting regional understanding.
