Udupi: Inebriated youth falls from flyover, social worker rescues him

Udupi, Sep 22: A youth fell from the flyover at Karvali Bypass in the city at around 9 pm on Wednesday September 21.

The youth is said to be an alcoholic. He lost consciousness as soon as he fell. He was taken to district hospital in the person vehicle of social worker Vishu Shetty Ambalpady. As the doctor was examining, the youth regained consciousness. He did not allow the doctor to do any further examination and walked away from the hospital.

Fortunately, when he fell from the flyover, he fell on a divider that was nearby. Hence, he did not receive any head injuries.
