Mangalore: MCC Bank's 100th Yr - Entrepreneur Ronald Colaco to Launch SWANT Auto Scheme

Mangalore, May 5: As the inauguration of the centenary jubilee celebrations of Mangalore Catholic Co-operative (MCC) Bank Ltd will be held at Milagres Hall on Sunday May 8, to mark the celebrations, the board of directors of bank have envisaged variety of banking services and schemes such as automobile scheme - Swant to be launched by Ronald Colaco, NRI entrepreneur and philanthropist on the occasion.
Under this automobile scheme, one has to deposit 10 percent of the vehicle value while taking delivery of an automobile. The bank has plans to introduce core banking system and also to open more branches in future, informed Melwyn D’Cunha, chairman, MCC Bank. The bank also plans to open ‘centenary’ branch. This apart, the bank will also launch various other schemes for the share holders, customers, and the bank staff, he added.
He said that Rt Dr Henry D’Souza, bishop of Bellary will concelebrate the Eucharistic celebrations at Milagres Church at 9.30 am on Sunday. Rt Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, bishop of Mangalore will preside. Oscar Fernandes, general secretary, AICC, New Delhi will inaugurate the centenary year.
District in-charge minister Krishna J Palemar, bishop of Bellary Rt Dr Henry D’Souza, senior banker John D’Silva, president of Model Co-operative bank Mumbai Albert W D’Souza, KEL Dubai president Shobha Mendonca, Daijiworld.com editor-in-chief Walter Nandalike, joint registrar of co-operative society N Rajanna, deputy registrar of co-operative society D K P R Palangappa will be the chief guests.
