Bantwal: Man absconding in ganja selling case arrested after two years

Bantwal, Oct 30: An accused who was absconding in a ganja selling case for two years was arrested by a police team led by Inspector Nagaraj H of Vittal station.

The accused is identified as Mohammed Asif, a resident of Poyyagaadde in Kanyna village.

In 2022, Vittal Sub Inspector Vinod Reddy and his team had raided the ganja-selling spot. The police had then arrested Amraz.

Another accused had then escaped from the police. Police found that the accused had left some ganja on the spot.

Vittal police inspector Nagaraj H, Sub Inspector Sandeep and the team arrested the accused and produced him to court.

The court has ordered 15 days of judicial custody to the accused.
