Udupi : Green Valley PU College Shiroor Achieves 100% Result

Udupi, May 11: Shiroor's Green Valley National School and PU College (GVNS), one of the most prestigious education centres in the region has secured cent percent result in the PU board exams.

The results were announced by Karnataka PU Board on Tuesday May 10 in Bangalore.

All the students who appeared for the exams have passed with flying colours, and indeed it is a matter of great pride for the institution, said principal of the college Col (retd) Mathew Muricken.

"This is the third batch passing out from the college. In the first year we had to face tough times as only 47% of the students had passed. But the next year we improved tremendously and achieved 97 percent. And now we have attained perfect results," he said while speaking to daijiworld.

Currently, the college offers commerce and science courses to the students. Ninety percent of the students have passed with first class, said the principal.

"The hard work put in by the students has really paid off, and I am grateful to the teachers as well as the parents of the students in working towards achieving this goal," he said.
