Mangaluru: St Agnes College holds Industrial visit for its secretarial practice students

Mangaluru, Nov 7: St Agnes College (Autonomous) organised an industrial visit for its students to  M/s ACE Foods Pvt Ltd, Industrial area, Ganjimat on Monday, November 7.

The visit was organised by the Department of Secretarial Practice of the college.

The Final year BA, Secretarial Practice and Office Practice and Management students, numbering about 18 of them along with three faculty members visited the industry.

Ms. Neha, the staff of ACE Foods assisted the group and explained the process of preparing a variety of food items, the various machineries used, their functioning etc.

She also showed how the oil automatically passes through the taps from the tanks and then cleared once in three days, usage of thermal heat uniformly in every step etc.

The students also observed the process of packing and sealing food items through an automated machine for a pre-fixed net weight and for fixed number of packets.

Students got a rare opportunity to see a variety of items which were in the process of preparation. These food items are exported to USA, Australia and to the Middle East countries. The visit was a fruitful one with an interactive session.
