Magny-Cours (France), May 12 (IANS) Indian driver Armaan Ebrahim delivered two top-10 finishes in the four test sessions held here Wednesday, ahead of this weekend's rounds three and four of the Formula 2 series.
Armaan was ninth quickest in the morning and fifth in the afternoon, but decided to run the day's final session in the evening on old tyres, thus dropping down the time charts.
The 21-year-old, who had finished seventh in the second round at Silverstone last month, said: "I am quite happy with my pace, though I still need to find another four-tenths to get to the top.
"We had a good outing today, especially in the third session when I was the fifth quickest. However, for the final session, we took a conscious decision to run on old tyres while saving the new set for Friday's test session and the qualifying round Saturday.
"Today's session was more about learning the track that was new to me and not focusing too much on the time charts. I am looking forward to the race weekend and hoping to deliver a strong result."
