Udupi, Nov 30: Alumni day of GM Vidyaniketan public school, Brahmavar was held on November 27 in the GM Chatrachaya. Rohan Jagadish, assistant superintendent of police of Sagara was the chief guest for the programme.
Speaking on the occasion he said, “Students should set their own goals and not follow others. Do not think much about the difficulties to be faced in the future. Failure is not the end of life, identify your strengths and continue working on that”.
Speaking with the alumni Brahmachari KN, principal GM Vidyaniketan public school said, “Alumni association is a second level of school days. All of you should participate in the school activities regularly. All our alumni students should serve the society”.
Prashath Kumar, advisor of the alumni association said, ”Today is a very memorable day for all of us. All of us have brought laurels to the GM institutions by achieving greater heights in various fields. The one who cried on the first and last day of their school life are today beaming with pride”.

Prakaschandra Shetty, president management committee addressing the gathering said, “You are part of the big tree named GM Vidyaniketan public school. Whatever height you might achieve in your life, you all are our children always. It is your responsibility to take this institution forward”.
Alumni students shared their experience of the school days. Various dances, singing and other performers were performed by the alumni.
Management committee members Tara Prakashchandra Shetty, Sreedhar Shetty, Pranav Shetty, principal GM global school Dr Sanjana, office bearers of alumni association, staff were present during the function.
Natasha and Harsha compered the programme. Tanya Shetty, welcomed the gathering. Adarsh Acharya, proposed vote of thanks. Fellowship meal was also organized on the occasion.
