Bantwal: Cleanliness should be everybody’s responsibility - MLA U T Khader

Bantwal, Dec 3: A campaign of cleanliness that will be held by district administration on the first Saturday of every month in the participation of schools, colleges and various local bodies was inaugurated at Farangipet by MLA U T Khader in the cooperation of Pudu gram panchayat.

The MLA said that there will be cleanliness only when everybody realizes that it is their responsibility. District panchayat CEO Dr Kumar said that cleanliness should be performed not only by words but by actions.

Pudu gram panchayat president Ramlan Maripalla presided over the programme. Pudu gram panchayat trash collection vehicle was set in motion.

District panchayat former member Ummer Farook Farangipete, gram panchayat vice president Lidia Pinto, members Manoj Kumar Nanya, Bhasker Rai, Hussain Padi, Razak Ammemar, taluk panchayat chief executive Rajanna and former gram panchayat president Prakashchandra Rai, Devasya were present.

Development officer Harish K A welcomed. Hanif Gothamajalu compered the programme.
