Beltangady, Dec 6: A vaccination campaign for brain fever was held on December 5 at the Holy Redeemer English Medium School here.

The campaign began with the lighting of a lamp. Beltangady Health Inspector Girish gave a comprehensive information to the students about Encephalitis virus, its mode of transmission, vaccination and precautions. School headmaster Fr Clifford Pinto wished that the campaign goes well.

Belthangady Health Center senior healthassistant Mariamma, health safety officers Kamala and Bhesh Kumari, community health officer Satish and nursing officer Ratna were present and assisted in the program. Teacher Anita compered the program.
