Now all the 4 parties are in trouble. They made mess of it. (Those who got & shared, police & claimant). Nevertheless, Cynthi DK on the basis of her comments: Wed, Dec 07 2022 "If i would have got it these bundles, today my friend commentators would not have wasted their precious time to comment here. That much care i would have taken. Hope, next chance for me with the double amount...25 lacs..." Please, wait & watch further developments. Where the missing cash hiding ???

As i noted earlier... it is not easy for any owner to come & claim the such a big quantum of money in physical form as the present IT rules call for substantiation. Hopefully by now the real owner would have got this gap fixed with the help of tax laws/rules expert. Now the burden is on the owner to prove the legitimacy before the court. Let us wait for more development...!!!!

Ten Lakhs is not a small amount and it's unusual for a person not realise t missing. Why did he keep quiet about the missing cash ?? He may not even have a proof of what he traded !! This brings us to the question asto how much money goes unaccounted for, as agricultural income. Moreover, it's tax-free. A common man has to pay GST on buying a litter of milk (produced by a farmer obviously), why isn't it recovered from farmers then ? Injustice at it's peak. No raid takes place in large agriculturist's premises but the moment you question the ruling party's policies, all ED/IT, all are activated.

The person who claims ownership will be on the radar of the income tax dept. He will have to pay 40% of the amount that he actually gets to the ...... and then about 33% tax and then penalty on the whole amount to the income tax dept.

Those involved in growing and trading areca are flush with funds and they don't pay any tax, get subsidies, and deal only in hard cash, but still crib and cry! Maximum number of paddy fields in DK have been converted to areca plantations; digging borewells rampantly without any restrictions as it's a water guzzling tree; not knowing that the ground water table is going down and down; time is not far off when the entire area will go dry; as of now all are enjoying!!

Wow, New twist. Now mangaluru police is in souq. Looking at the bundle it self clear that money is more than 49,000/- as claimed by honest(?) mangaluru police. Still 2000 currency notes are not in the photo, which earlier report claimed. May be they thought it is hawala money, no one will come forward. More over Tukaram returned 2.99lakhs. Bid panda. NIA required to investigate. 49,000 verses 10lahks
