Mangaluru, Dec 19: Sports Day was organized at Srinivas Institute of Technology on December 17, at its Valachil campus.
Inaugurating the formal function, the chief guest Dr Ramakrishna Hegde, HOD automobile engineering department lauded the students for their keen interest and enthusiasm in organizing the event. He also motivated the students to display their sportive talent by participate various events.
Sports coordinator Dr Dheeraj Hebri, placement officer, physical directors Supriya Adiga and Pranam Shetty, students’ sports secretary Dhanush KV and Rachana Shetty were also present on the occasion.
The programme started with march fast from various department students and followed by various athletic events for both UG and PG sections during the day and winners were awarded.
