Court slaps fine on two for derogatory social media posts against minister Sunil Kumar

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (EP)

Bengaluru, Jan 9: The 12th City Civil court, Bengaluru has slapped a fine and ordered an unconditional apology from two local leaders of Karkala for publishing derogatory posts against Kannada and Culture Minister V Sunil Kumar on social media.

Karkala residents Yogesh Nayana Inna and Radhakrishna Nayak had written a false and insulting article with malicious intent against minister Sunil Kumar during the Corona lockdown and had published it on facebook and other social media.

Minister Sunil Kumar had moved the court and sued the writers for defamation. The court which heard the case, ordered the accused to submit an unconditional apology and slapped a fine of Rs 25,000 from each of them and restricted them from publishing unfounded, baseless and unauthentic content with malicious intent.

Minister Sunil Kumar in his reaction to the case said that some people were spreading systematic propaganda against him. “Therefore, I approached the court and the verdict came in my favour. This is a lesson to those who are publishing insulting articles that spoil the reputation of people on social media,” he said.

What good reputation this man is having? Corrupt and winning elections only based on religion. So no one can speak anything about BJP. But BJP can do anything. This is the law prevailing in India now. Be a BJP and all your sins will be washed away..

Mr Vinod, yes, when it comes to the ruling party, they can utter any garbage, kill, destroy rape or create communal unrest and no one dare to say a word! All our cherished laws to govern a democratic world has been put on the back burner as of 2014. What we have today is rules and not laws. Laws are impartial across board. It doesn't look at the political party, caste, creed or religion. Rules are different for each scenario and for each party. As per current rules, BJP are the saints ruling the country and all others are desh drohi.
