Udupi: Postal services affected throughout country due to server issue

Udupi, Jan 12: Postal services have been affected throughout the country for some days due to technical issues. The official website is not working properly. Cash transfer is also stalled.

Responding to the issue, Naveen Chandar, postal superintendent, said, “The issue is due to the server transfer from Mumbai to Mysuru. This process will be over in some days and the customers will get the usual service.”

Naveen also said that care will be taken to avoid any inconvenience to the public.

    I hope the problem gets solved soon Most people nowadays have post office savings account and that would cause very much problems for them. Though nowadays no one sues post office for letter posting we must not forget that post offices are a essential part of our life

    worst central govt department..the employees are so heady that they treat those who walk in like beggars..even deposit inquiry which I did at Bejai post office they did not care...and show any interest...these people get fat salaries and know that they work or not they are paid...
