Mangaluru: Srinivas University conducts field visit to Manipal Museum of Anatomy & Pathology

Mangaluru, Jan 23: The department of clinical psychology, Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Srinivas University organised and visited Manipal Museum of Anatomy & Pathology on January 20.

The students of BSc and MSc clinical psychology were taken for the visit. The field visit was to enrich the knowledge of the students practically by visiting the museum to see the preserved brains, different stages of human bodies of normalcy and of organic diseases, genetical disorders and other type of abnormalities which were also separately embalmed and plastinated and so on. After the Museum visit, the students were taken to 'Salumarada Thimmakka Tree Park' near Manipal, where the they had some recreational activities and group games by spending together a quality time in the park along with the faculties.

The visit was organised the Priyadhersini S, course coordinator, department of clinical psychology and supported and accompanied by the faculties Akshatha, Asha and Nisha.
