Mangaluru: YouTubers of Punjab origin on India tour reach Padubidri

Mangaluru, Feb 5: Guruvinder and Vikas, two YouTubers from Punjab who are on an India tour on their tricycles, reached Padubidri recently.

The duo started its journey from Punjab on September 24 and are covering thousands of kilometers on their tricycles intending to cover borders and coastal areas and other parts of the country.

The duo, which arrived at Aikala near Kinnigoli, participated in the Kanthabare Budabare Kambala on Saturday. They will stay over for another two days to watch Aikalabawa Jodukare Kambala.

From Aikala both have scheduled their travel to Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh and other states. They travel 70 to 80 km everyday on their tricycles that are altered to their needs. They had fixed solar on the tricycles also but removed later as it is too heavy. They have a mobile charging power bank, utensils for cooking, stove, clothes, water, tent and air pump with them as luggage.

Both are excellent painters and carry paper and painting materials with them. They said that they incur a daily expense of around Rs 500 to Rs 600.

    Commendable... Few people may term it as waste of time and sorts... But I personally feel they are doing a good thing by enjoying themselves by interacting with people across the nation...
