Modi-Shah on political tourism in Karnataka: B K Hariprasad in Udupi

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (JD)

Udupi, Feb 7: Where were Amit Shah and Narendra modi when 4 lac people died and lacs of people suffered due to Covid, questioned B K Hariprasad, opposition leader of legislative council in Udupi.

He was speaking with the media at the “Congress Karavali Prajadhwani” yatra here in Athrady on Tuesday, February 7. “Amit Shah and Narendra Modi did not care about Karnataka when the people were suffering due to floods, covid and other circumstances. Now all of a sudden they are touring in Karnataka which looks ridiculous. It is a routine to follow an aerial inspection of the flood hit areas, but they didn’t even care to visit the places. But they conducted aerial inspections in Maharashtra and Odisha but not in Karnataka. Now they are here on political tourism. Yesterday, Modi spoke highly of HAL in Bengaluru. Rafael planes were about to be built in HAL, for which agreement was also done. As many as 136 raffle planes were about to be mantled in HAL. But they bought 36 Rafael and other planes via an agreement with Anil Ambani's company which did not even exist at that time.”

“It was only Rs 54 crore of loans on the country during the term of past prime ministers. But it has now increased to Rs 156 crore. Karnataka pays Rs 6.7 lac crore as GST. According to the 14 th finance commission, the GST amount is also deducted, whereas states like Uttar Pradesh get good funds. More than Rs 10 lac crore of loan is waived off for industrialists. This is a government just for the rich,” he added.

Addressing the public meet Vinaykumar Sorake, former minister said, “The current MLA rejected the 800 akrama – sakrama files which were processed during our tenure. Today 40% commission should be paid first and then the road work and other developmental works begins. A sub inspector of Padubidri had called me.
He accused that he was transferred by the MLA for not paying the money. Another one also said that he was transferred as another person paid more than him.

During the covid time in Hiriadka, Rs 40 crore worth illegal sand mining was carried out by the BJP people. Congress will come to power. There is a need to protect the constitution of this country.”

Hundreds of Congress workers participated in the meet.

Of course Karnataka is the main thing for bajapa now for the run up to 2024.... Any loss here will have national repercussions.... If and only if opposition leaders let go their ego and favoritism who knows we may have a surprise.... There are leaders in all parties who can give better governance than rather coward politics of Modi... never faces any press or impromptu public... All interviews are staged and censored... Only monologue ki baat... But for information section of the party macro economic performance and public happiness are suppressed by series of gimmicks....
