Beltangady: Youth arrested for evading court hearing for last 4 yrs

Beltangady, Feb 9: Dharmasthala Police have arrested a youth who was absconding without attending court hearings for the past four years in a criminal case registered against him.

The accused is identified as Vinay, a resident of Baramelu House, Kokradi, Kadaba Taluk. Police head constable Rajesh and Mallikarjun took the accused into police custody on Thursday, February 9 and produced him before the court.

 

The police have accused him under sections 147,148,149, 323, 506,324 of the IPC.

He is also a prominent accused in a theft case reported under the Uppinangady police station.
