Udupi: Car completely damaged after colliding with gas tanker

Udupi, Feb. 12: A car collided with a tanker near Puttur junction on National Highway 66 on Sunday, February 12 evening.

The car was completely smashed in the evening. A solar blocker pole on the central divider of National Highway 66 was also damaged in the accident.

Driver of tanker, Karnan had loaded LPG gas in his vehicle and was transporting it to Goa from Mangaluru. The driver of the car B Tambura was also coming from the same direction towards Ambagilu from the coastal side at Nittoor Junction National Highway 66 in Puttur village.

Tambura was driving the car rashly and negligently which collided with the tanker. However, no one was hurt in this accident.

A case has been registered in Udupi traffic police station.

    Not even a days pass of without the news of a major accident. Here the car diver was driving rashly however he was not hurt. We need to drive carefully Observe traffic rules and follow discipline. Unless strict action is taken against negligent drivers many lives will be lost. Police must punish drivers who are driving negligently!!!!
