Bantwal/Puttur: Two absconding accused persons arrested in different cases

Bantwal / Puttur, Feb 13: Bantwal rural police have on Monday, February 13, arrested Afridi, a resident of Mithapadpu, Sajipanadu grama, Bantwal who has been absconding for the last two years after release of the warrant without appearing in the court in connection with crime registration No. 5/2020 under IPC sections 341, 324 and 504 registered in the police station. 

He has been produced in court. 

Meanwhile, in Puttur, head constable Parameshwar and police constable P C Giriprashanth attached to the Puttur town police station have arrested an accused on Monday, February 13, in a cheque bounce case.

The accused Akshith Shetty, a resident of Shantigodu grama, Puttur against whom a warrant was issued in the cheque bounce case in 2015 was absconding.
