Balipa Narayana Bhagawatha is one of the greatest exponent of Yakshagana art form. It was a sheer pleasure to see him sing in a high pitch in his trademark style with a pan filled mouth. He filled Yakshagana with his energy and his own style. With his passing away an era comes to an end and his high pitched voice will reverbrate in the ears of Yakshagana lovers. I was one of his fan.
