Udupi, Feb 22: It was a narrow escape for passengers as a tree fell a bus on the road from Karkala to Nellikaru here on Wednesday February 22.
As the road widening work is in progress, trees are being felled using an excavator.
The vehicles that were approaching from both the sides of the road were stopped. However, due to lack of precautions, a tree fell on a government NURM bus that was stopped. The passengers however escaped with minor injuries.
