officer, who was one among those held hostage by Somalian pirates has alleged Indian government of being unhelpful during 10-month-ordeal by her husband'. However, she was ecstatic on her husband's return.

Speaking to one of the television reporters at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, she said that she just could not forget the 'unhelping' nature of Indian government officials, who despite several pleas exhibited disinterest about the safety of Indians aboard. The Emirates Flight EK 510 landed on Friday June 24 morning at 9.45 am carrying all six Indian hostages from Karachi.

"I was hopeful that Indian government would come to the aid of my husband and other sailors. I even met Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, but none  of the government officials helped us, she asserted and added that it was Pakistani human right activist who helped us by paying the ransom.

"I am thankful to entire nation, who were with us in prayers and support. I am also thankful to people of Pakistan who blessed and prayed for us. I am sure the incident will bring India and Pakistan closer," she said.
