Kundapur: BJP workers express outrage near MLA Sukumar Shetty's house, demand ticket

Byndoor, Apr 11: The BJP workers expressed their outrage on Tuesday, April 11 night after learning that their sitting MLA for the Byndoor assembly constituency, B M Sukumar Shetty, may not be given a seat in the coming election.

More than five hundred activists and supporters of the MLA gathered outside MLA's house in Vandse to protest against the decision of the BJP high command.

Despite their efforts, the activists were ignored and the decision remained unchanged. They demanded that the MLA be given the ticket expressing displeasdure over the party's response.

The BJP Byndoor president, Deepak Kumar Shetty, spoke to the workers and announced that a meeting will be held at the MLA's house at 10 AM on Wednesday.

He promised to take the next step after gathering the views of the workers. Sukumar Shetty's supporters fear that he may lose the ticket in the upcoming election.
