Udupi: Sudden fire at helipad, CM Bommai escapes from danger

Udupi, Apr 13: Fire erupted at the helipad as the helicopter carrying chief minister (CM) Basavaraj Bommai landed at Byndoor on Thursday April 13. Luckily, the CM escaped unhurt.

Fire was noticed at the Areshirror helipad of Byndoor after the escort of CM Bommai left. A tense situation prevailed for some time. Fire service personnel immediately put off the fire and CM Bommai left for Kollur through the same helipad.

The BJP released its second list of candidates for the upcoming legislative assembly elections and CM Bommai began temple run immediately after the release of the list.

Bommai reached Kollur and visited Kollur Mookambika temple and offered special pooja.
