JDS releases second list; 5 chosen for Udupi, defector from Cong Divyaprabha bags Puttur ticket

Udupi/Puttur, Apr 14: The Janata Dal (S) has announced its selection of five candidates for the Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district constituencies.

Dr Sumati S Hegde has secured the ticket for Mangalore South constituency. Sabeen Ahmed has been given a ticket to contest from the Kaup constituency, Dakshath R Shetty from the Udupi constituency, Srikanth Kocchur from the Karkala constituency, Mansoor Ibrahim from the Byndoor constituency, and Ramesh Kundapur from the Kundapur constituency.

Meanwhile, Divyaprabha Chiltadka who defected from Congress to JDS has managed to secure the ticket to contest from Puttur Constituency.
