PM Modi likely to visit Udupi on May 4, take part in BJP conference

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (MS)

Udupi, Apr 17: BJP sources said that Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi will arrive in the city on May 4 and take part in the conference of the party.

There is a possibility that the huge gathering will take place in the city centre or some other suitable place. It is said that the central leaders have conveyed the matter to the district BJP leaders in this regard.

BJP Udupi district president Kuilady Suresh Nayak said that PM Modi will partake in the conference of BJP workers on May 4.

There is a possibility that Yogi Adityanath will also accompany Modi. Meanwhile, the Congress party is also trying its best to get their star leaders and campaigners to the district.

People should ask BJP how much of Karnataka taxpayers money is spent for each of his visit?. Government owned state busses are used to transport people to the venues and public are unconvinced . How much money is spent on feeding these people. Is he observing model code of conduct set by election commission ?. People should be reminded what former Governor of BJP said about loss of life of 40 soldiers was used for electoral gains?.

It is arranged to have around 20 visits each of which will cost around 14 crores. Can we afford these expenses which taxpayers have to boot or to tighten the belt why doesn't he set an example by conducting virtual meetings ? Why BJP doesn't believe in its local leaders and its achievements to win as it's state government elections? Only people can end this over dependence on outside leaders.

Every sun-set has a sun-rise. Likewise every success has a failure. Politics is not permanent. What is permanent is Truth, facts and the good that we leave behind. Let's ask ourseleves - do we have the same old affable communities and those beautiful ready-to-help attitudes amongst us any more? Where have our cultural habits have disappeared today, why people are violent? We have created some seeds of hatred amongst us - erasing those beautiful togetherness moments somewhere. Leaders can come and go; what is needed is love and affection amongst the people. Lets pray and hope, every visit by any political leader to our land brings peace and prosperity. Politics aside.

Hey surathkal, People of Kerala don’t boast about being developed or underdeveloped. It’s the gujjus and the North Indians who keep boasting about development of india. Check the figures ( I know you won’t) to see how many of the north Indians who boast about india developed have moved out of the country. If they have a little shame ( I know they don’t)and if they are not hypocrites then WHY DONT THEY RETURN BACK TO THEIR COUNTRY?
