New Delhi, Jul 4: The copyright dispute over the hugely-popular euphemistic song 'DK Bose' from Aamir Khan's 'Delhi Belly' has been settled, it is learnt.

The title of the song had first been used by artists Jiten Thukral and Sumir Tagra for their exhibition at Gallery Nature Morte in 2005. The title was then registered under their name, it is said.

The dispute has now been resolved, with Aamir Khan admitting that he was not aware of the trademark earlier and disowning any claims over it.

"I wasn't aware of the similarity between their label and the song title. I am here to acknowledge the fact that the phrase is their label. We don't have any claim over it at all," he said.

Thukral and Tagra had raised the copyright infringement issue with Aamir on June 24, clarifying that they did not want a financial settlement but only an acknowledgement.

"We were taken aback when we saw the term used in the song and shared our concerns with Aamir. He understood and appreciated our concern. We are grateful for his openness in resolving the matter," said the artist duo.
