Kadaba: Kukke Sri Subramanya temple earns Rs 123 crore income, highest in Karnataka's history

Kadaba, Apr 17: Kukke Sri Subramanya temple has earned an annual income of Rs 123 crore for the last fiscal and created record in the history of Karnataka till date.

The temple earned Rs 123,64,49,480 for the period of April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023. The temple is going to be in the top spot this year too. The income comes from Harake Seve, offertory box, interest of deposits in bank, rent of buildings and agricultural farms.

In 2006-07, the income of the temple was Rs 19.76 crore. This shot to Rs 24.44 crores in 2007-08. In the following years the income steadily rose to Rs 31 crore, Rs 38.51 crore, Rs 56.24 crore, Rs 66.76 crore, Rs 68 crore, Rs 77 crore, Rs 88 crore, Rs 91.69 crore, Rs 95.92 crore, Rs 92.09 crore and went down in 2020-21 to Rs 68.94 crore and Rs 12.73 crore in 2021-22 due to Covid. However, now again Kukke temple has taken the first spot in the state.
