Kundapur, Apr 21: “Revolt of Arun Puttila in Puttur will not harm BJP. Asha Timmappa, the BJP candidate will win there,” said MP Tejasvi Surya at the press conference that was held at Byndoor BJP office.

Surya further said, “Shafi Bellare, accused in the murder of Praveen Nettaru, is contesting from SDPI from the prison. Hence, this has become the question of existence of Hindus. Ideology and organization are the only two factors that play crucial role in elections. For the BJP, the country is important. Hence, Congress, SDPI and Arun Puttila will not win.

“The BJP will return to power in the state. Commoners have the achievements of union and state governments in mind. The BJP has given opportunity to a general worker of the party Gururaja Gantihole as the voice of the youth and oppressed class. This should be the victory of the BJP workers. The party will get a definite majority. The BJP workers should work with dedication,” he said.

Responding to the issue of poll boycott by Marvanthe fishermen, Surya said, “The union and state governments have introduced many schemes for the development of fishermen. Special priority is given for the development of the coastal fishermen. The BJP will fulfil all their demands.”
