‘Dr Vidyabhushana Live in Dubai’ turns out to be super successful devotional delight

Dubai, Apr 26: SCENT (Sandhya Creations Event Network Team) & Ambalathere Vision along with Maestro Events jointly presented a unique programme ‘Dr Vidyabhushana Live in Dubai’ on Aril 23. The houseful audience enjoyed every bit of it throughout and responded that it was a professionally organized programme which seldom happens in Dubai.

The programme started with the procession from the outer gate into the auditorium with drum beats and ladies holding ‘kalashas’ in a traditional way. It was an unexpected houseful audience as there was no seat for those who came later.

Shodhan Prasad welcomed the audience and invited the guests on to the stage to do the honours of lighting the lamp. It was followed by a speech from one of the guests on behalf of all the guests on the stage.

Roopa Kiran Kottary and her group presented a beautiful welcome dance ‘Pushpanjali’ which was well applauded by the audience. Her troupe consists of well-trained Bharatnatyam dancers namely Roopa Kiran Kumar who choreographed, Ahana Amith Palled, Aarna Amith Palled, Shreeya Swarup Bhosale, Hridya Aruketty Manoj, Lakshanyaa Manjari Iyyappan, Shayna Manoj Kumar and Ishwari Indrajeet Shinde.

Chaitra, a local talent sang Ganapati song ‘Ganaraya’, a Shankar Mahadevan devotional song.

The main event was Dr Vidyabhushan live accompanied by musicians Anirudh on Mridangham, Vishwajith with violin, Rajesh Bhat on tabla and Subramanian on Thala which was a feast to the audience as they applauded on each and every song rendered. Dr Vidyabhushan went on singing more than 18 Dasara Padagalu songs and his voice was a magic which left the audience spellbound.

All the audience thoroughly enjoyed the programme which was more than what they expected. The audience commended and said this was a super professionally organized programme which they rarely saw in Dubai.

Organisers SCENT – Sandhya Creations Event Network Team & Ambalathere Vision honoured Dr Vidyabhushana with ‘Gaana Kanteerava Antharashtriya Swarna Prashasthi Award’ which was presented on the programme day with the honours done by the hands of dignitaries. Shawl, Mysuru peta, fruits basket, flower garland, felicitation letter, gold award and memento was presented to Dr Vidyabhushana.

To beautify and present the entire programme, a special invitee from Mangaluru, master of ceremony Manohar Prasad graced the occasion with his skillful presentation. Manohar was presented with ‘Patrika Bheeshma’ award for his long standing service in journalism. He was honoured with shawl, flowers, fruits, memento and felicitation certificate.

On the whole, the entire event was successfully presented by SCENT (Sandhya Creations Event Network Team) and Ambalathere Vision.

Active SCENT members Shodhan Prasad, Sandhya Prasad, Sudarshan Hegde, Veena Hegde, Nithyanand Beskoor, Kiran Beskoor, Ashok Bailur, Sushma Bailur, Kiran Kottary, Roopa Kiran, Alwyn Pinto, Shameer Bolar, Rakshak Prabhu, Santosh Shetty, Rithesh Anchan, Manoj Kumar and Prabhakar Ambalathere from Ambalathere Vision were the people behind the successful show. Marghadeepa ladies wing led by Sujaya Sandeep Rao organized the ‘Kalasha’ arrangements and lent the backstage support. Sujith Laynel Fernandes from Maestro Events arranged the permission, sound, lighting, photography and videography.

The audience enjoyed the very special Mangalurean cuisines with the live cooking stall erected wherein variety of delicacies were available throughout the programme. The audience enjoyed most of the dishes and were craving for more.
