Brahmavar, Apr 27: In an accident that occurred on Thursday April 27 near Mahatma Gandhi high school in Yedtadi village between a scooter and a bike, the bike rider was killed, while the scooter rider was seriously injured.
The deceased bike rider is identified as Mohammed Safran A K (27), a resident of Haikadi. Scooter rider Bhujanga Shetty (68) received grievous injuries and is admitted to Manipal hospital.
Safran was travelling from Saibarakatte to Brahmavar, while the scooter rider Bhujanga was coming from the opposite end. Both the riders fell on the road after the collision. Both were admitted to Manipal hospital. However, bike rider Safran succumbed to injuries.
A case in this connection is registered in Brahmavar police station.
