Mangaluru, Apr 28: The graduation day of Chetana's Education Foundation, part of Chetana's Beauty Lounge was held at Hotel AJ Grand on Tuesday April 25.
The graduation day was inaugurated by winner of VK Navatare season 5 and Miss Karnataka 2023, Tanishka Murthy. Performance coach, mind trainer and therapist, director Forrader Akademi Manipal Tanuja Maben was the guest of honour.
As many as 17 students graduated from Chetana's Education Foundation.
This was the first batch of Airbrish HD make up course under Chetana’s v under Chetana’s Beauty Lounge.
It also offers 6 months beauty cosmetology and 45 days pro-makeup artist course.
Chetana’s Beauty Lounge offers short term courses such as makeup and hairstyles, saree draping, nail art, advance beauty machinery treatments, GSB katchha, Sharadha jalli, micro blading and many more at Chetana’s Education Foundation.
Hera Pinto was the costume designer and accordingly, make up was done by Chetana S.
Drama actor, Bharathanatyam dancer and Tulu movie actor Harishchandra Perady walked the ramp with a traditional look. Chetana transformed the complete look of Harishchandra Perady by creating a hairstyle with less use of jewellery.
During the graduation day, Chetana’s Beauty Lounge announced that it will start a unisex salon soon with bride grooming sessions with bride, groom services and treatment. Those who are interested can book the services for August month.
About Chetana S
Chetana S is a renowned internationally acclaimed beautician of Mangaluru who has been in the profession for 26 years and also proprietor of Chetana's Beauty Lounge. The beauty lounge gives a wide range of services which includes soothing therapies, facials, total body treatments, aromatherapy, henna application, mehendi designing, nail art, creative bindi and bridal make up. She has rich experience in photoshoots and beauty pageants.
She has also visited several countries to get herself trained in beauty cosmetology, makeup and hairstyle. Many students from other district visit her parlour for beautician courses, advance makeup and hair style where she has groomed many youngsters.
Chetana started her journey as mehendi artist and also she is specialised in all beauty services. In 1996, she started her profession as teaching at St Agnes College, started her journey as beauty instructor at KPT in 1997. She was the first Mangalurean airbrush makeup artist in 2011. She is also a beauty cosmetologist. In 2013, she passed her Zurich international examination. HD makeup was trending from many years and air brush itself is a HD makeup. On repeated demands, she finally decided to teach airbrush makeup which she wanted to keep as a secret. In 2023, Chetana is sharing all her knowledge with the batch.
