G Parameshwara injured in stone pelting incident during poll campaign in Tumakuru

Daijiworld Media Network – Tumakuru (DV)

Tumakuru, Apr 28: Senior Congress leader Dr G Parameshwara was injured in a stone pelting incident while he was on an election campaign trail in Byrenahalli of Koratagere taluk in Tumakuru district on Friday, April 28.

He was immediately rushed to a primary health care centre in Akkirampura for treatment as he sustained head injury.

This incident occurred while flower petals were being showered on him by his followers during the campaign. Some miscreants pelted a stone at him. After a stray stone hit him, blood oozed out from his head and he tried to stop the bleeding with a cloth.

Later, he was brought to a hospital and was treated there. It is suspected that miscreants had planned to pelt stones at a time when flower petals were being showered on him.

In West Bengal Mamata got her leg fractured and she campaigned on wheel chair with plastered leg and she won there handsomely. Frustrated people always resort to these violent tactics but they further damage their party. Now should we label it as attack on dalit face like BJP dubs attack on chors as attack on OBC s?
