Mangaluru: Dr M V Shetty Group of Colleges celebrates institution, graduation day

Mangaluru, Apr 28: Dr M V Shetty Group of Colleges celebrated its institution day and graduation day here at Milagres Church hall on Friday, April 28.

As many as 364 students graduated on the graduation day. 

Vice-chancellor NITTE deemed to be university Prof Dr Satheesh Kumar Bhandary was the chief guest for the graduation day.

Principals of M V Shetty College of Nursing, M V Shetty College of Physiotherapy, M V Shetty College of Speech and Hearing, M V Shetty College of Health Sciences, M V Shetty Professional Sciences & Management, Leelavathi Shetty College of Education and SARSA College of Arts and Science presented annual reports of their respective colleges.

The oath was administrated to graduates. The dignitaries handed over gold medals to the meritorious graduates during the ceremony.

Dean student welfare sciences Dr U T Ifthikar Ali, chairperson Dr M V Shetty memorial trust Dr Hima Urmila Shetty, director academics Dr Suma S Rai, trustee Dr Divyanjali Shetty, principal, College of Nursing Prof Christeena Saju Varkey, principal, College of Physiotherapy Prof L Gladson Jose, principal, Institute of Professional Sciences and Management Dr Prakasha Amin, principal, Leelavathi Shetty College of Education Dr Deepthi Nayak, principal, College of Speech and Hearing Dr Sathish K, principal, College of allied health sciences Shripriya K, principal, SARSA College of Arts and Commerce Jayalatha K and others were present.

The event was compered by Rashmitha Veigas and Shruthi. Trustee Dr Ranjith Shetty welcomed the gathering.
