Udupi: Upcoming polls not for MLAs, but to make state’s future secure – Amit Shah

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (EP)

Udupi, Apr 29: Union home minister Amit Shah addressed a massive gathering at Green Valley grounds, Katapadi on Saturday April 29.

He said, “PFI activists murdered Praveen Nettaru. Though I cannot bring back him back to life, we have banned the PFI organization that killed him. The Congress party was supporting the PFI. Siddaramaiah government withdrew cases registered against PFI members. The Congress risked the security of the nation for vote bank.

“The current election is not to make MLAs but to make the future of Karnataka secure. Only the BJP can keep Karnataka safe. There is a double engine government on one side and a reverse gear government of Rahul Gandhi on the other side.

“The BJP government will come to power even if you vote only once and the Modi government will be voted back to power in 2024. The Modi government has zero tolerance towards terrorism.

“We have removed Muslim reservation. The reservation will be brought back if Congress comes to power. We will not let Muslim reservations come back. Rahul and Priyanka have come on election tourism, to bring their government and make the state an ATM. Modi has increased the pride of India in the world. He has kept India secure. The Congress has called such a person a poisonous snake. Sonia, Priyanka, Rahul and B K Hariprasad of Congress have hurled expletives at him. Lotus has blossomed during all those instances.

“The Congress had given guarantees in Gujarat, Tripura, Manipur and Uttar Pradesh but won nowhere. Nobody believes in guarantees when the party itself has no guarantee. The guarantee of the Modi government is security, peace and development.

“Bring the accounts of the ten year’s rule of Sonia and Manmohan Singh and compare it to the nine year’s performance of the Modi government. The nine year performance is much better than the previous regimes.

“Do you not want the temple at Ayodhya? Modi has paid Rs 2,26,418 crore assistance. The coastal Karnataka is a strong fort of the BJP. The Congress should not get even one seat here. The JD(S) is the B team of the Congress. Vote for the BJP when you do not want Congress,” he said.

Union minister Shobha Karandlaje, Kaup candidate Gurme Suresh Shetty, Udupi candidate Yashpal Suvarna, district president Kuilady Suresh Nayak, MLAs Raghupati Bhat and Lalaji Mendon, other leaders and party activists were present.

Karnataka is staring at a looming drought like condition, especially Udipi and Mangalore with acute shortage of drinking water as the little remaining water too has been contaminated by sewage water; if there is no security of the most important thing to sustain life, then what sort of security are we talking abou?? Yettinahole project has ruined the life line of Mangalore, acute drinking water shortage!

Any party which incites communal hatred shouldn’t be in power in a democratic country. It is detrimental for not only minority community, but also for the majority community as well. Every BJP leader seldom speaks about the developments, inclusive governance, unemployment, reducing poverty, education, healthcare, climate change, etc. Karnataka is like a heated oven this summer. People are struggling without affordable healthcare. Educational institutions are mushrooming with sub-standard education. World’s biggest pool of youngsters are either unemployed, underemployed or not working to their potential. India is a rich country but underdeveloped due to some (not all) power hungry, money hungry, uneducated and narcissist politicians. We have a collective power to unseat such people. So, this time we have to vote carefully. Voting is not only a privilege; it is a duty and responsibility of every citizen to build better India. Jai Hind.
